Earth Clock by Xentax

Great desktop clock that can use dynamically-updated images from the Web, such as web/traffic cams, satellite images and by default it displays realtime views of Earth (based on Earth and Moon viewer made by John Walker).

Xentax EarthClock

Has skins to choose from and most important - custom dynamic views (i.e. backgrounds) can be added. On this actual shot you can see 1. North Pole view from Moon 2. NYC webcam 3. NASA Sun images 4. Earth view from Sun.

Very resuorce hungry so PIII/Athlon + is strongly recommended.
Freeware 4.05Mb works on W2K/XP and probably Linux (check the site).
Guys are also crazy about C64 and have dedicated forum.

Btw, if you wish to know current exact position of some of known satellites (for some evil/non-evil reasons) check this site : http://www.fourmilab.ch/earthview/satellite.html

. . . . . . . . .
