The SWF source of the clock featured in this blog is now also available - so you can see how lame I’m in flash and how simple it could be to you to make your own flash clock. Feel free to make any customizations - change the music, remove the logo (yes there is a logo), colors, sizes, anything. Hey, I’m not a bad guy after all :|

To be honest I was surprised when hotscripts decided to publish my modest piece of flash. I was even more surprised when somebody has actually voted for it (wasn’t me).

I’ve added more flashy clocks today.
It would now suite any color scheme. Enjoy :|

Choose the clock style you like. Right click on it. Save as / Save link as - to download somewhere. Use HTML code as shown here.
Or you can download the whole zipped bundle from http://www.desearch.net/out.php/i34380_allclocks.zip

Hi there!
I just want to say that your download link for the flash clocks doesn’t work, and i’d really like to have them on my public collection as well as personal.
I’d apreciate if you fix the download link soon.
Thanks
Carpe Diem

Yeah. I know, the zipped version is n/a, cause I don’t have a time to find worthy file hosting service, most of them expire the file if it is not downloaded for some time.
But you can download these clocks one-by-one from imageshack. I check that option more frequently.
Adios

You can use:
http://pando.com
or, if you want, if it’s not to big the file, i can host it in my server:

Uploaded the compressed file to some more free services. It should work for a while.

I just downloaded the movie and I realy like it! :)
There’s only 2 things I’m missing:
->Would it be possible to get the clock in white color, with transparent background?
-> Is there any way of changing the time displayed (by use of html / javascript) ?
Thanx,
Chris

Chris,
I have no idea how to make transparent BGs in flash.
The time is taken from computer’s clock - it’s a standard approach for such simple animation…
In large - the “project” is pretty much over now, sorry I can’t help
Comment by head4ke — 13 September, 2007 @ 6:18 pm
There it is - “THE SOURCE”. Now you can actually change things :]
Comment by head4ke — 13 September, 2007 @ 7:11 pm
Thanx for your reply. :)
But if I owned my own Copy of Flash, I would have built my own clock from the start, instead of searching the web for si#ome satisfying sollution. :(
-> As far as I know and remember, all you have to do is to check that little “Allow Movie BG to be transparent” checkbox, when saving a flash-movie, to make it transparent…
Chris.

It was made with 30days demo version about 2.5 years ago. I think you can still find an older version of Flash MX, then you can activate it without connecting to web (cause adobe probably canceled all older activations).

I like your free flash clocks, like i said, but can you not make a new version of them without the background music? I would aprciate it, i would love to have them in my collection of flash clocks without the background music please.
Comment by Lyon — 24 January, 2008 @ 7:58 pm

Hi, i just want to ask you a question, i have now i very popular website about free flash clocks at http://freeflashclocks.eu/blog, and because i have the one of the top positions on google and other search engines for the searches related to free flash clocks and flash clocks keywords, do you want to exchange links head4ke?
I hope you do head4ke, we could help each other, and send trafic to each other, as well as increase or maintain our google page rank position.
Our websites have the same niche/purpose/subject, so the best choice is to exchange links, but if you do not want to, i understand.
My free flash clocks website is at http://freeflashclocks.eu/blog , good luck.
