Here’s the list of my 10 favorite non-conventional FPS firearms.
I don’t play much lately so it’s mostly old good stuff :|
And yeah , this is not Top 10, but just a personal favorites. No particular order.

Overwatch Rifle - HL2

Well… Alien plasma rifle - what could be better. Plasma grenade for alt. fire. Fav++

Rifle - MDK

Actually the only weapon in MDK. A machinegun that could be used in sniper mode when attached to Kurt’s head, shouting various ammo types.

Railgun - Q3A

It made all the difference (In a right hands)

Pain / Killer - Painkiller

Probably the best unlimited ammo weapon of all times. You could use it 3 ways - chop, burn or tear - all deadly.

Rail Drive - Red Faction

One shot one kill gun that could shoot through any walls on reasonable distance.

Razorjack - Unreal /UT

Chop, chop, chop.

Hornet Gun (Hornet Hand) - HL

Unlimited ammo, self aiming, shooting through walls and around corners.

Gravity Gun - HL2

Everybody’s favorite. If you used it no comments needed.

Gluon (Egon) Gun - HL

Most powerful weapon of HL1. Popped Alien Grunts (and anything else) like balloons

Flak Cannon - UT

Deadly in close combat. Nasty as alt. fire. Fav+
